US presidential candidate Donald Trump, who had opposing views on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies during his previous presidency, has turned away from cryptocurrencies.
A new move came from Trump, who now supports BTC and cryptocurrencies and includes them in his election campaign.
Accordingly, cryptocurrencies were included in the official election manifesto of the Republican Party.
The declaration included the following statements about cryptocurrencies:
“Republicans will end Democrats’ illegal and un-American Crypto push and oppose the creation of a Federal Reserve Digital Currency.
“We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin and ensure that every American has the right to self-custody their Digital Assets and transact free of Government Surveillance and Control.”
